Curious about how we grow flowers? š Are you getting ready to start some veggies or flowers and want to see how we do it? Follow along as we start some seeds our favorite way: soil blocking!
These are all cool season flowers, meaning, these flowers enjoy cooler temps and some can even tolerate a light frost! These will be the first flowers that we plant in our field in April! ļæ¼ļæ¼
We tend to overseed around here, which works out well. There is nothing worse than empty cells because seeds didnāt germinate or an external force caused their demise. Itās easier for us to terminate, compost, transplant, or feed extra seedings to our chickens than try to restart them and catch up on lost time!
