Happy to meet you! I'm Genevieve, and together with my not-so-little family, I run Oak Haven Flower Farm.

Using crop rotation, companion planting, and other sustainable farming practices, we make sure our growing practices are sound and the flowers we share with you and your loved ones are beautiful! 

 

Gardening has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was a little girl. Living in MN, our growing season is short, but that’s what makes Minnesota homegrown flowers that much more special — you just don’t get them everyday!

Flowers aren’t the only thing we have around here! In addition to our five homeschooled kids (some like the farm and help out, some don't), we grow and breed rabbits (Holland Lop, Mini Lop, Lionhead). We also have chickens and quail for their pest management and egg production (you can find farm fresh eggs for sale in our flower stand).  We raise Sebastopol geese, a threatened species of geese. They are great at eating weeds in the flower field. We top off our farm with several beautiful cats, and our beloved golden retriever, Libby.

 

We previously ran an Airbnb and Hipcamp on our property, and our guests would repeatedly describe our area as feeling like a "little slice of heaven". They would talk about leaving refreshed and full of joy. As the dreams and the plans for a flower farm started to come into play, incorporating Haven into our name just seemed like a perfect fit. Nestled amongst old oak trees, with pockets of rich soil, built from years of composting leaves, we became Oak Haven Flower Farm.
